Longlevens Schools of Tae Kwon-Do

The newest club under the guidance of WMST, Longlevens Tae Kwon-Do is ideal for anyone of all abilities (7 years +) with an interest in Martial Arts. Classes are taught by Mr Adam Jones a 3rd Degree Black Belt who has over 23 years experience in Tae Kwon-Do. He began his training in January 2000 under the guidance of Mr James Murray 5th Dan (WMST Abbeydale). Mr Jones progressed through the grades and became a Black Belt after testing under Grandmaster Hee Il Cho 9th Dan at the International Testing in Jersey 2012.

Upon gaining his Black Belt Mr Jones began to assist teaching at a number of WMST clubs, it became natural for him to progress into teaching. Mr Jones intends to continue to learn, enabling him to pass on his knowledge and experience to the highest possible standard, approaching his training with a traditional and respectful manner. Mr Jones is a fully qualified and licenced Instructor with the British Tae Kwon-Do Council (BTC). He is fully DBS checked. Mr Jones has over 10 years competing experience and has won several prestige competitions including:

  • AIMAA Scottish Champion 2013, 2014 & 2015
  • PUMA English Champion 2015
  • PUMA British Champion 2015
  • VERVE Champions League Series Winner 2016

Mr Jones is a fully qualified referee and umpire. He is also a qualified First Aider.
